     We, Keith and Tricia Nelson, began importing antiques from Europe thirty seven years ago. Our first container landed in Red Bank, NJ in February 1986 and we have spent the ensuing years happily running around to auctions, antique stores and wholesale furniture markets throughout the United States, England and the Continent.

     For years we specialized in the antique English & Irish waxed pine furniture that was the crux of the American country look, a mid-1980's antidote to all the over-polished, often gloomy, dark oak and mahogany furniture that was everywhere at the time. 

      Now, in addition to antiques, we sell furniture from many different companies, including custom upholstered sofas and armchairs made by two iconic American manufacturers, the Sherrill Furniture Company which includes Hickory White, Lillian August and Motioncraft and Century Furniture.

     Both modern and traditional styles are on hand and available for sale off the floor--or you can design your own. All of our upholstered furniture is higher-end custom furniture--not mass produced!  Think of the difference between a BMW and a Kia--either car will get you where you need to go, but they're quite different when it comes to production and engineering...and style. Also--unlike a $500 sofa, a $4000 sofa is never going to see a landfill!

       By offering furniture that represents the very best American-made furniture, in addition to our own one-of-a-kind European imports, we have created a unique shopping experience, defying the internet explosion, and proliferation of mass produced, often shoddy products coming from overseas.
